Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable mechanic to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of construction equipment used across multiple industries, including concrete pumps and other machines. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mechanical repair, is detail-oriented, and can effectively troubleshoot equipment to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Assist in equipment setup and calibration for customers, ensuring correct operation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience operating diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple repair projects, and complete tasks on time.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environments.
