In this role you will be the final touch of our service, delivering packages with care and professionalism, and you will play a key part in keeping operations smooth and customers satisfied. A strong emphasis on reliability, safety, and service excellence will ensure every interaction reflects our values and strengthens the trust our customers place in us. ## Responsibilities • Lead delivery operations by ensuring on-time delivery of packages to customers within assigned routes, achieving a minimum on-time rate of 95%. • Load, secure, and organize packages in the delivery vehicle to prevent damage and loss during transit, conducting a quick check of contents before departure. • Plan and optimize routes using GPS and route planning software to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery windows. • Verify recipient information, collect signatures or digital confirmations, and handle delivery exceptions with documented notes. • Perform daily vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain safe driving records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, and parcel counts; reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse in a timely manner. • Communicate with dispatch and customers to provide status updates, resolve issues, and adjust routes as needed. • Deliver excellent customer service by handling inquiries professionally, addressing complaints, and ensuring a positive delivery experience. • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards; complete all required training and certifications. • Uphold cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and delivery equipment; manage inventory of delivery supplies and replenish as needed.
