This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a fast-growing SaaS platform serving operationally complex businesses. The Senior Director of Product leads multiple product teams, driving innovation, delivery excellence, and measurable business outcomes. \n- Define and communicate a compelling product vision and multi-year strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead annual and semi-annual product planning cycles, ensuring prioritization, resource alignment, and measurable impact.
- Direct multiple Directors/Group PMs and oversee the broader PM organization, recruiting, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Establish and maintain consistent product management standards, operating rhythms, and evaluation frameworks across teams.
- Partner with engineering and design to ensure predictable delivery, high-quality product outcomes, and continuous process improvement.
- Deeply understand customer needs, market dynamics, and operational workflows to guide product discovery and strategy.
- Align product initiatives with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, ensuring organizational clarity on priorities and progress.
- Define and monitor product KPIs, tying outcomes to business results, and presenting strategy, performance, and insights to executive leadership.
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading product teams.
- Proven success scaling product organizations and shipping products that drive customer value.
- Strong experience with SaaS or operational software platforms, preferably with multi-persona workflows or marketplace dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and operational rigor; corporate strategy experience is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of product discovery, user-centered design, and product analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and storytelling skills; ability to align diverse teams around a common plan.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, comfortable with KPIs, revenue modeling, and forecasting.
