We are also open to considering in nuclear engineers with 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in PRA engineering.</p> <p>Our team provides safety and reliability consulting to the nuclear industry and serves customers located throughout North America.&nbsp; We perform specialty technical services in a wide variety of engineering projects, which range from day-to-day nuclear power plant operation to cutting edge research and development in all areas related to plant safety</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Conduct comprehensive probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) and engineering analyses utilizing industry-standard methodologies and tools to evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with nuclear power plant operations.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Develop, implement, and continuously improve methodologies and models for assessing and managing risks to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability in nuclear facilities.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of nuclear consultants, engineers, and industry experts across various geographical locations to gather and analyze data, share insights, and develop holistic solutions to complex technical challenges.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Generate detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing analysis findings, methodologies, and recommendations for clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Provide expert technical guidance and support to clients regarding the interpretation and application of risk assessment results, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to effectively communicate technical concepts, present analysis results, and facilitate discussions on risk management strategies and mitigation measures.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and advancements in nuclear engineering, risk assessment methodologies, and industry standards to inform continuous improvement initiates and enhance the equality and relevance of our consulting services.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements in risk assessment workflows and methodologies, leveraging technological advancements and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement and optimization of our consulting services.</span></span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline required; Mechanical, Nuclear, or Electrical Engineering preferred.</li> <li>Prior experience in the power industry or with nuclear technology (e.g., U.S. Navy Nuclear Program)&nbsp;is a plus</li> <li>Excellent communications and writing skills</li> <li>Proficient in the use of Excel and/or Access database tools to track/analyze data in support of various risk analysis tasks; MathCAD experience a plus</li> <li>Background check and drug screen are required for this position</li> <li>Submitting a cover letter outlining your interest in this position is highly encouraged</li> </ul> <p>#LI-AW1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><strong>Jensen Hughes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
