About this role

EHS Manager Denmark

Step into a role where your expertise truly makes a difference. As our new EHS Manager, you will be the driving force behind a strong and forward‑looking safety culture across two key JELD‑WEN production sites in Denmark. This is your opportunity to combine strategic influence with hands‑on engagement and shape a safer, smarter and more people‑focused workplace for the future.

About the Role

As EHS Manager for our Danish operations, you will play a central and highly influential role in building and strengthening the safety culture at our two production sites in Herning and Sdr. Felding. This is a strategic position where you will collaborate closely with production leaders, health and safety representatives and the local leadership team. At the same time, you will be part of a strong Northern European EHS network, working together with our Nordic EHS Manager to implement new standards and share best practices across the region.

Your Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and further develop our EHS strategy and ensure that it is firmly embedded in daily operations. You will conduct risk assessments, guide leaders in safety matters and deliver training sessions that create engagement and awareness among employees. You will also play an important role in securing correct reporting and ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and relevant legislation as well as JELD‑WEN’s global standards.

Your work will have a direct impact on how we operate and on the wellbeing of everyone at our sites. With a clear focus on continuous improvement, you will help us prevent accidents, strengthen our culture and support our long‑term ambitions.

Who You Are

You bring several years of experience, typically five or more from EHS management within a global or matrix‑driven environment. You are used to work both strategically and hands‑on, and you have a strong understanding of relevant safety legislation and ISO standards. You communicate clearly, build trust naturally and enjoy collaborating with colleagues at all levels.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent background is expected. It is required to be fluent in both Danish and English.

Why Join JELD‑WEN?

At JELD‑WEN, you will join a company that takes safety seriously and sees it as a key enabler for performance and employee wellbeing. You will have the opportunity to influence how we work today and shape how we operate tomorrow. With strong leadership support and an engaged organization, this is a role where your knowledge and passion truly make a difference.

If you are motivated by creating safe and inspiring workplaces and want to play a key part in an international company, we look forward to hearing from you.
