Position Purpose
This position is responsible for management of JCB’s fleet vehicles, profitability and See Through Analysis for Quarterly Reporting.  

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
•    Prepare, review and post monthly journal entries
•    Raise intercompany recharges with supporting documentation
•    Perform intercompany reconciliation and reporting requirements
•    Review and allocate incoming and outgoing intercompany payments
•    Prepare, review and track all payment requests for the finance department
•    Prepares various monthly expense allocation files and posts corresponding journal entries
•    Fixed overhead reporting
•    Prepares and files various sales & use, excise tax returns
•    Assists with daily cash clearing / reconciliations
•    Reviews / Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts
•    Assists with month-end closing activities
•    Provides ad-hoc reporting / support to Sr. Accountant / AFC as needed

 

Nature & Scope
Reports to Sr. Accountant.

 

Minimum Qualifications
•   
Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.

•   Proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables

•   Strong attention to detail

 

Preferred Qualifications
•    
One - two years of accounting and/or finance experience

•    Associate’s degree in accounting or finance

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to multi-task
•    Effective time management and organizational skills
•    Understanding of GAAP

 

Job Conditions
•    Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
•    Subject to noise and temperature changes
