🔍 About the Role

To be successful in this role, you should be an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with focus on Cost Controlling and like the international character of the job. Besides a healthy interest in finance, you have a keen interest in other competences within the SAP area like SAP logistics, data migrations, analytics, sales and services. You’ll be working together with a team of finance and IT professionals to align and implement SAP Finance and Controlling globally.

On a daily basis, you will:

• Gather business needs and requirements and translate these into functional designs;

• Develop, test, document, deliver and optimize SAP applications ECC and S/4 HANA greenfield implementation;

• Demonstrate, provide training, and guide testing activities and transfer to community;

• In case of cross application processes, you’ll work together with other Application Specialists to find and create the best solutions;

• Your main focus is keeping the business is optimized and supported in its daily operations.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

You’ll be working together with a Global team of finance and IT professionals to align and implement SAP Finance and Controlling. Because of the international character of the role, it is preferable that you have go-live experience as well as knowledge about tax rules and regulations. Experience with Vertex or Meridian is a big advantage.

You will be gathering financial business information and translating requirements/processes into IT Solutions, which will support and optimize the business in its daily operations. As a consultant you are responsible for the functional design, implementation, maintain and optimizing the software. In addition, you will participate in other projects and daily operations.

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

As an IT Professional, you’ve developed a keen interest and experience in financial processes and SAP development through implementation or business finance/accountancy roles.  You may also have a background in business controlling or accountancy and understand international tax laws and regulations.

To excel in this role, you should:

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or the equivalent;

• You have experience in solving complex issues in the field of SAP FICO focusing on Cost Controlling, Product Costing, Settlement of IO/distribution cycles;

• Experienced in working with SAFe and scrum;

• Understand business processes and translate them into IT architecture;

• Someone who’s a strong communicator with excellent English written and verbal skills.

Nice to have:

• Experienced with related software solutions like Vertex or Meridian and Basware;

• You have an interest in S/4 HANA.
