Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Ensuring maximum equipment up-time is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.

Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines.

The implementation of preventative maintenance.

Responding to radio calls from Ops teams on urgent breakdown or repair works.

Engaging in team safety initiatives, such as the TAKE 5 review

Ensure appropriate safety tools are used when performing maintenance works (LOTO, TAKE 5)

Reporting hazards and repairs to maintenance supervisors
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:
- Fitter and turner trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Understand work planning and scheduling procedures.
