Jasper Electric Motor Mechanic
Job Overview: Jasper Electric Motors is looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting various types of motors.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (6:00am to 4:00pm)
- On call rotating schedule for after hours, holidays, and weekends
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience required
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Pay based on experience
- Self-driven and good communication skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens.
Responsibilities:
- Repair large & small dc motors
- Perform routine tests on the armature & field circuits
- Use diagnostic tools to test various components
- Preform various mechanical checks
- Live run test motor
- Perform quality inspection before returning to customer.

What you'll do
- The mechanic will be responsible for repairing large and small DC motors, performing routine tests on armature and field circuits, and conducting quality inspections before returning motors to customers. Additionally, they will use diagnostic tools to test various components and perform mechanical checks.
