JAGGAER is seeking an AI Security Engineer to support the secure design, development, and operation of artificial intelligence across our products and internal platforms. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating security risks introduced by AI technologies, including third-party AI services, cloud-hosted AI workloads, and internally developed AI capabilities.

The AI Security Engineer partners across the organization to embed security into AI-enabled systems throughout their lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and operation.

Principal Responsibilities

What You’ll Do – AI in JAGGAER Products- Perform threat modeling and security reviews for AI-enabled product features in partnership with security and architecture teams- Embed AI security requirements into the secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)- Validate security controls for AI systems, integrations, and data flows- Support secure integration and operation of third-party AI platforms and internally managed AI servicesWhat You’ll Do – Enterprise Use of AI- Assess security risks associated with enterprise and SaaS-based AI tools- Help define and implement security controls for data handling, access management, and auditability- Support responsible use of AI by identifying and mitigating risks related to unsanctioned or unmanaged tools- Provide security input on AI-related vendor and integration reviewsWhat You’ll Do – AI Use in Security Operations- Help enable safe and effective use of AI within security operations- Design and build AI-assisted security solutions, including automation, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled analysis tools- Evaluate AI tools used for security detection, investigation, and response- Define guardrails to ensure appropriate oversight, logging, and human reviewResponsibilities- Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for AI-related systems and features- Contribute to AI security standards, patterns, and guidance- Partner with product, development, and security teams to drive remediation and improvement- Support vulnerability management and incident response activities involving AI systems- Stay current on emerging AI security threats and best practices

Position Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in security engineering, product security, or application security- Strong understanding of application and API security and secure SDLC practices- Working knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLM-based systems- Experience working with third-party platforms or SaaS integrations- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teamsNice to Have- Experience with product security or secure design reviews- Familiarity with emerging AI security risks or industry guidance- Experience with security automation or toolingWhy This Role MattersAI is becoming foundational to how JAGGAER builds products and operates internally.
