We are currently seeking an Import Export Supervisor at our corporate headquarters to help streamline our logistics and operations processes on an international scale.

Import Export Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Supervise daily import and export operations under the IMMEX program.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican customs regulations, SAT requirements, and USMCA provisions.
  • Manage temporary and definitive imports/exports of raw materials, machinery, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Prepare, review, and control customs documentation (pedimentos, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
  • Coordinate cross-border shipments between Tijuana and the United States.
    Liaise with customs brokers (agentes aduanales), freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve customs clearance or logistics issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and reconciliation for bonded and IMMEX materials.
  • Support internal and external audits related to customs, IMMEX compliance, and trade regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of IMMEX program requirements and Mexican customs regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and shipping processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for logistics management.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
