Import Export Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Supervise daily import and export operations under the IMMEX program.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican customs regulations, SAT requirements, and USMCA provisions.
- Manage temporary and definitive imports/exports of raw materials, machinery, equipment, and finished goods.
- Prepare, review, and control customs documentation (pedimentos, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
- Coordinate cross-border shipments between Tijuana and the United States.
Liaise with customs brokers (agentes aduanales), freight forwarders, and transportation providers. - Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve customs clearance or logistics issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and reconciliation for bonded and IMMEX materials.
- Support internal and external audits related to customs, IMMEX compliance, and trade regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IMMEX program requirements and Mexican customs regulations
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and shipping processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for logistics management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
