Job Description

As a Campos Coffee Business Development Manager, you’ll be a frontline advocate for us, promoting and protecting our brand within the wider coffee community. You’ll be the go-to person for our current Wholesale Cafe Partners in a territory within in the Brisbane metro and greater areas, including a few regional QLD customers.
  
You’ll understand our product and purpose inside out. In this dynamic role you won’t be stuck behind your desk. You will be on the road, building and maintaining relationships by practising industry leading service and selling award winning coffee.

In this role, you’ll love the ability to:

  • Build and foster great relationships with a focus on quality, retention, and growth.
  • Win new accounts and open up exceptional specialty coffee to everyone.
  • Represent and showcase Campos at industry events and other forums.
  • Train and maintain our Wholesale Café Partners to meet our quality and presentation standards.
  • Strategize with our Wholesale Café Partners to increase their profitability and to meet their goals.
  • Educate and inspire our prospect customers about what it means to be a Campos Wholesale Café Partner.

Qualifications

About you
As a Campos Coffee Business Development Manager, you’ll seriously care about doing a great job. You’ll love contributing to the team and the company, and you’re passionate about providing outstanding customer service.
 
For this role as a Business Development Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A passion for coffee and experience working with coffee. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, barista skills, coffee knowledge and knowledge on coffee equipment. 
  • A proven track record in new business development and account management. 
  • Ideally previous experience in a café/hospitality environment at management level. 
  • Be able to work autonomously, achieve KPIs.
  • Physically fit to lift boxes, grinders, and coffee machines. 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of small businesses. 
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems. 
  • In possession of an Australian work permit and full clean driver’s license. 
  • Willingness to travel to regional QLD as part of the Brisbane greater and regional territory and stay overnight if required.
