Pay: Starting at $17.50 - $18.50 an Hour
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our team at Aztec Grill. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring timely and accurate food service. Ideal candidates are team players with a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Let's Go!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to store recipes.
- Prepare food quickly and in a safe manner.
- Follow all food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stock and prep ingredients for daily use.
- Keep kitchen equipment clean and organized.
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School/GED preferred.
- Flexible available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Food Service, Quick Service, Retail experience a plus.
- Food Handler Permit as required by county, city, or state or be able to obtain one within 30 days.
- A passion for delivering friendly, fast, and high-quality service.
- Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Physical Environment:
- This role is classified as Light Work: regularly lifting 10+ lbs., occasionally up to 20 lbs., and up to 40 lbs. as needed.
- Requires standing for most of the shift with frequent bending, twisting, and quick movements during busy hours. Work is performed in a warm kitchen environment.
