This is a technical position performing diagnostic ultrasound exams. In addition to scanning, the duties include chart review, maintaining data logs and image processing. Sonographers may be expected to provide an oral or written review of the exams performed.
Graduate of School of Radiological Technology with a minimal of six additional months of formal training in Ultrasound preferred, or Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography. Six months of formal training that includes hands on clinical applications. Registered or Registry Eligible with ARRT in ultrasonography or with ARDMS in minimum or Physics and ABD/OB areas and BLS required.
