Programmer Analyst II

Job Summary:

The Programmer Analyst II will design, develop, test, and implement software solutions and applications, contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of Jabil's critical business systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software applications and systems using various programming languages and tools, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
Perform thorough unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
Document technical designs, code, and support procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and tools to improve development processes and system performance.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in software development or programming analysis.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python).
Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and writing complex queries.
Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) is a plus.
