Becario para Calidad (Quality Intern)

Job Summary

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Becario para Calidad (Quality Intern) to support our quality assurance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our product quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Support the documentation and recording of quality data, including inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Participate in the analysis of quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to implement quality initiatives and resolve quality-related issues.
Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
Learn and apply quality tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and assisting with audit activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality department to support overall quality objectives.

Job Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field) or a technical degree with a focus on quality or manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish (both written and verbal). English proficiency is a plus.
Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Prior experience or coursework in quality control, manufacturing processes, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Objetivo

1.- Recopilar la información de reporteadores diarios para los métricos globales y del proyecto, así como la investigación de las causas y su mejora contínua.

2.- Realizar auditorías de procesos utilizando LPA Nivel 2 (Formato Jabil)
Utilizar el formato de Baselines para Jabil.

3.- Estudiar y entender los requerimiento para cada parte del proceso en la correcta introducción de un proyecto:
1.- de cliente (e.i. FTF, drawings)
2.- de Jabil (e.i. PFMEA, CP)
3.- Baselines de Jabil

4.- Sistemas que utiliza cliente y Jabil para la correcta introducción
