JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Sales Representative – Lead FLSA: Exempt

Assists the Sales Manager by running open sales routes: making preplanned sales calls. Will also assist in all aspects of running the division including tracking, auditing, crew drives and covering for the Sales Manager, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Runs sales routes, as needed, completing proper inventories and using company issued handheld.
- Maintains knowledge of current MBO’s and pricing changes.
- Completes inventories of portfolio in all accounts in assigned area.
- Maintains proper rotation of current stock to ensure product freshness, organizes product in back rooms of assigned accounts and checks brand positioning and shelf tags in coolers to ensure cooler integrity.
- Able to read all code dates and rotate both package and draft while at retail.
- Has a clear understanding of all current pricing and quantity deals for package and draft.
- Able to present new products using iPad to review sell sheets.
- Comfortable in using Building with Beer to present our portfolio in a positive manner.
- Conducts and attends promotions as directed by manager.
- Attends and executes chain and independent resets on Sales Manager’s request.
- Works with our supplier partners as directed by manager.
- Has a clear understanding of our POS Key Zone Initiative and how to order POS and signage using current handheld device.
- Encourgaes and influences customers to use P.O.S. promotional display items in the market
- Able to place permanent and litho signs in the market using simple tools and fasteners.
- Delivers small quantites of package or draft beer, as needed.
- Adheres to the order submission requirements and the Off Day Delivery policy.
- Works on projects, special events, promotions and all other requests the Sales Manager assigns including working some nights and weekends.
- Provides sampling of new products introduced in the area. Maintains necessary product knowledge.
- Follows all company rules, policies and procedures when attending promotions and events.
- Attends all required meetings.
- Completes all required training.

- Must use own means of transportation (i.e. vehicle) to get from account to account in order to service customer accounts/venues.
- Must be able to regularly unload product (case of beer), which averages to 40 lbs., but can weigh up to a maximum of 49 lbs. from delivery vehicle and transport into customer accounts.
- Must be able to push/pull/lift kegs on a regular basis which average 170 pounds and can weigh up to a maximum of 186 pounds; you must be physically capable of routinely performing lifting at those weight levels and transporting product into customer accounts.
- Must be able to move beer within accounts to meet customer demands.
- Requires ability to move easily around account premises in order to inventory current stock levels and display P.O.S.
- Able to rotate product in coolers and on shelves.
- Able to maneuver a two-wheel dolly effectively.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years previous sales experience.
- Valid Class D driver’s license required.
- Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, high places, and loud noise.
