Location: Arnett Hospital

Shift: Full Time Day Shift (Monday – Friday)

Department Supported: Arnett Inpatient Rehab (PT-OT-ST)

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performs designated routine patient care tasks under the direct supervision of the clinician(s). 

Assists the clinician to provide safe mobility and positioning of the patient as needed. Maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment. 

Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required.

Participates in all infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety and fire safety programs. 

Distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies. 

May perform scheduling, customer service and some clerical duties.

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA within 6 months of hire. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Rehab experience preferred.
  • Requires familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.
