About this role

Onsite at Arnett Hospital.

 

Mon-Fri from 5a-1:30p with one weekend every 8 weeks.

The assignment for this position involves managing supplies within the operating room space via WaveMark scanner and RFSmart handheld device as well as within the Surgical Inventory Management space.  Downstacking pallets of supplies delivered from our Integrated Service Center and distribution of linen throughout the hospital is also included in the responsibilities.  Not a sedentary assignment - on your feet from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave with the exception of lunch.

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling is preferred.
  • Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment. May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
  • Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.
