Menu and Allergen Specialist


Hourly Wage

ISS offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $29.00 per hour- $29.00 per hour.


Work Hours

The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, weekend and evening availability.


Key Purpose

The Menu and Allergen Specialist will work with the On-site Nutrition Strategist to maintain robust and accurate nutrition information. The role will be to support the development of nutrition information on daily menus and ensure nutritional information is accurate at each client location. This role will also support the development of marketing materials that will educate and inspire healthy, onsite dining.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with nutrition education development and nutrition facts for all North American offices
  • Assist the on-site Dietitian with the Net Menu program to analyze nutrition facts, update menus accordingly, and prepare literature that contains accurate nutrition facts
  • Analyze correct portion sizes are being used and assist with double checking allergens for each meal
  • Support nutrition material creation and on-site activations to interact with employees when on-site Dietitian is visiting other regional campuses
  • Continued administrative support from various teams as needed
  • New product inventory management
  • Regional menu oversight – recipe, nutrition, allergen + procurement accuracy


Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work onsite during business hours between 9am and 6pm
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutritional science
  • Understanding of nutrition facts, general nutrition knowledge
  • Highlight organized with experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working at tech or creative entertainment/marketing company
  • Interest in gaming and empathy for the player experience
