About this role

Brand Manager

The Brand Manager will play a critical role in shaping, protecting, and evolving the Guckenheimer brand across a diverse portfolio of corporate dining environments. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Concept Development, this role partners closely with culinary, operations, supply chain and technology teams to bring brand strategy to life through compelling food and hospitality experiences.

Unlike traditional brand roles, this position supports a highly customized portfolio of dining environments rather than a single standardized concept. Each café, market, micro-kitchen, or dining destination is designed to reflect the culture, workforce, and goals of the client it serves, while still delivering a cohesive and elevated brand experience. The Brand Manager helps ensure that balance is achieved consistently and thoughtfully across the portfolio.

This role is well suited for someone who is highly creative, naturally collaborative, energized by fast-moving environments, and genuinely excited about finding new opportunities and bringing food-driven ideas to life. A passion for great food is a huge bonus!

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy, Innovation & Stewardship

  • Drive brand innovation by identifying emerging food and hospitality trends and translating them into relevant, ownable concepts and programs
  • Manage and evolve the brand and innovation calendar, ensuring a steady pipeline of fresh ideas, seasonal initiatives, and timely activations
  • Support the ongoing development of food frameworks, visual assets, and experience standards across Guckenheimer’s dining portfolio
  • Ensure brand consistency while enabling thoughtful customization across diverse client environments
  • Act as a brand steward, helping teams interpret and apply brand standards in ways that feel intentional, relevant, and on-brand

Concept & Experience Development

  • Partner closely with the Senior Director of Concept Development on new food innovation concepts, providing support and input from brief process through to final operational rollout
  • Help bring culinary, wellness, seasonal, and limited-time programs to life through cohesive branding and storytelling
  • Translate high-level concepts into clear, compelling brand expressions across menus, signage, graphics, and guest touchpoints

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Culinary, Operations, Supply Chain and Technology teams to ensure brand intent is clearly understood and effectively executed
  • Serve as a connective partner between creative vision and operational reality, helping bridge strategy and execution
  • Provide brand guidance and support to regional and on-site teams as needed

Creative Development & Execution

  • Oversee the development of brand assets including menus, signage, naming, copy, and presentation guidelines
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors (designers, printers, fabricators) to deliver high-quality brand materials
  • Review and provide feedback on creative outputs to ensure alignment with brand standards and concept goals
  • Content creation and curation for guest-facing websites that support individual cafés.

Program & Project Management

  • Manage multiple brand-related initiatives simultaneously across varied locations, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Maintain organized workflows, timelines, and shared asset libraries
  • Support the rollout of new concepts, programs, and brand updates across the portfolio

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or concept development
  • Experience in foodservice, hospitality, retail, lifestyle, or multi-unit environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation while maintaining brand consistency across diverse physical environments and formats
  • Strong visual sensibility with an understanding of how brand comes to life in physical spaces
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and organizational levels
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Key Attributes for Success

  • Curious, trend-aware, and motivated by bringing fresh ideas to life
  • Genuine passion for great food and the experiences it creates
  • Clear communicator who can translate brand strategy into practical, actionable guidance
  • Flexible, solutions-oriented, and comfortable navigating evolving priorities
  •  Deep appreciation for the role food and hospitality play in building culture and community
