Internship Title: Talent Management Intern

Are you ready to contribute to a new initiative within our Talent Management Center of Excellence?  This hands-on internship is designed for someone who is a self-starter,  enjoys solving complex problems confident is sharing ideas, and is eager to learn how talent strategies shape sustainable careers – while working closely with the team to design frameworks, tools, and systems that support workforces planning, succession readiness, and career development.

Department Description

The Human Resources (HR) Department ensures that the organization has the talent needed to successfully meet both short- and long-term goals, provides competitive programs that attract, retain, and reward employees, supports the training and development needs of the full enterprise, and ensures that the ISO’s work environment is productive, facilitating the ability of all employees to deliver their best results.

 

What You’ll Be Working On:

As a Talent Management Intern, you will:

  • Contribute to strategic talent initiatives including workforce planning, succession readiness, and career path development
  • Help build and refine frameworks, tools, and resources that inform talent and workforce decisions
  • Analyze and organize complex information, distilling it into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Support the development of systems and processes that enable long-term career sustainability
  • Manage multiple tasks and deliverables in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Collaborate with HR leaders within a Center of Excellence model to support enterprise-wide initiatives

The expected hourly range for this position is $19 - $33 per hour, depending on your year in college.  Interns are eligible for some paid time off benefits and have access to our wellness program.  Our internships also provide interns with exposure to the energy industry, mentorships, and real-world experience.

This is a U.S. based role. If the successful candidate resides outside of the U.S., relocation will be required.

 

To be eligible for an internship with ISO New England, a candidate must have completed at least the first year of college and be currently enrolled in a four year or graduate-level academic program. Candidates must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship.
