As a Regulatory Compliance Partner supporting our North American Refining & Supply business, you’ll apply engineering‑driven problem solving to translate Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements into practical, scalable solutions that enable safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Your goal will be to partner with cross‐functional teams, assess compliance gaps, support regulatory reporting, and provide technical and regulatory guidance on environmental and occupational health & safety (EHS) requirements. Your Responsibilities:
Research and gather information to support the business and develop internal controls within required deadlines
Analyze regulatory requirements and business processes, identify compliance risks and priorities through compliance gaps assessment and improve processes
Actively engage with stakeholders from different business areas and across jurisdictions, to provide information or obtain input for the development of the Irving Oil regulatory compliance program
Build and nurture effective and collaborative networks and relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Your Experience:
Graduation from a post-secondary institution in a relevant discipline or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience relevant to this position (Engineering degree is an asset)
5+ years’ experience interpreting and/or applying laws and regulations
