Are you passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer? Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Women’s Health Medical Assistant to join our Gynecologic Oncology team!
Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers:

- Location: Mesa, Arizona - travel to other locations required

What You’ll Do:
- Assist in pre- and post-operative care for gynecology patients
- Prepare exam rooms and surgical instruments
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, strong understanding of sterile techniques. Must possess excellent sterile technique.
- Support minor in-office procedures and wound care; specimen collection
- Coordinate patient education and follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation; process referrals as needed
- Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including chart prep, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- **Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered***
- Experience in surgical or women’s health settings highly preferred
- 1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
- EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus
- Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
