Job Overview 

The Early Head Start Center-Based Teacher creates a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for infants and toddlers (ages 0–3). This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social-emotional growth and support school readiness, all in alignment with Early Head Start Performance Standards and program goals. The teacher is responsible for the overall classroom operation, including effective classroom management, accurate recordkeeping, and maintaining active supervision of children. 

 

Qualification 

  1. Education
    1. Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, child development, or a related field; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
  2. Experience
    1. Experience working with children under the age of 5 years. 
    2. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with data management and reporting systems 
  3. Requirements
    1. Ability to conduct home visits, including reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for occasional home visits.
