About this role
A small community hospital located near Chariton, Iowa is seeking full-time Paramedics to join their growing team!
The Paramedic Job Opportunity Description:
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Night shift, weekends or weekdays, 12 hour shifts with on call schedule
- Great emergency leadership and administration team!

- Provides pre-hospital care for the ill and injured patients through assessment, intervention, and ambulance transportation, according to the protocols established by the medical director. Cross-trains to Lab, Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Room and Medical Surgical floor to provide assistance as requested in a timely and cooperative manner. Assures daily ambulance checks of inventory, restocking, disinfecting, cleaning and maintenance of all ambulances are performed.
The Paramedic Minimum Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted State of Iowa Paramedic Specialist Certificate
- Mandatory Reporting and BLS certified or within 90 days of hire
- Valid and unrestricted Driver’s License
- Preferable to have previous paramedic / EMS experience
