<p><strong>501599 Systems Engineer</strong></p>
<p>Work Location: Huntsville, AL</p>
<p>Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day in office (remote work is not authorized)</p>

<p>IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Utility Helicopter Project Office (UHPO) group on Redstone. Potential candidates will have 6+ years of experience within the Department of Defense, and an active security clearance. Candidate will be responsible for the essential functions listed below and must display the competencies as described to complete those essential functions.</p>
<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong>: <br><br>- Systems engineer responsible for advocating for rigorous systems engineering management principles and advising assigned Utility Helicopters Product</p>
<p>Office(s) or projects.</p>
<p>- Provide overall direction, coordination, and management to ensure PO systems engineering principles are followed.</p>
<p>- Provide overall direction, coordination, and management to all stakeholders involved in a configuration change to the aircraft.</p>
<p>- Review and adjudicate submitted Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) artifacts to include all levels of performance requirement specifications (system,</p>
<p>subsystem, software), specification change notices, design descriptions, request for deviations, engineering change proposals, engineering change notices,</p>
<p>technical reports, test plans, performance plans, and others.</p>
<p>- Support and advise various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on systems engineering best practices.</p>
<p>- Provide input to scope of work (SOWs) to ensure appropriate systems engineering requirement managements, technical reviews, and CDRLs are</p>
<p>incorporated appropriately.</p>
<p>- Support the development of Airworthiness Qualification Specifications (AQSs), and resolve issues with requirements verification efforts for achieving</p>
<p>Airworthiness Releases (AWRs).</p>
<p>- Attend and provide feedback for contract gate reviews, Technical Interface Meetings (TIMs), design reviews, and other technical meetings.</p>
<p>- Lead the development and implementation of specification change notifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements</p>
<p><strong>Experience and Technical Knowledge: </strong><br>• Active Secret Clearance</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree (prefer Master’s) with 6+ years’ experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of contract requirements and documents (Systems Engineering Plans, Performance Work Statements, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to work with and lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)</li>
<li>Strong problem solving skills</li>
<li>Experience with design, verification, and qualification of aviation systems</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively and well with others</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise with Engineering and Project Management tasks</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Travel</strong>: Must be able and willing to travel up to 25%</p>
