<p><strong>501602 Development and Modernization Air Vehicle Project Lead</strong></p> <p>Work Location:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Huntsville, Alabama</p> <p>Schedule:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Full Time</p> <p>Relocation: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Negotiable</p> <p>IronMountain Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Project Lead to support the Development and Modernization Air Vehicle Team for the UH-60 Black Hawk program within Utility Helicopter. This position requires a unique blend of maintainer experience, programmatic leadership, and hands-on technical understanding of airframe and electrical systems.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has fifteen (15) years of relevant employment, is comfortable operating with minimal supervision, interfacing directly with government stakeholders, and briefing technical and programmatic information to leadership.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support development, modernization, and sustainment efforts for the UH-60 Black Hawk air vehicle</li> <li>Lead and coordinate programmatic activities across engineering, maintenance, logistics, and test organizations</li> <li>Serve as a primary interface with government PMOs, engineering leads, and aviation stakeholders</li> <li>Develop and maintain schedules, risk registers, action trackers, and program status metrics</li> <li>Translate maintainer and engineering inputs into actionable program recommendations</li> <li>Proactively identify integration challenges, maintenance impacts, and air vehicle risks and drive mitigation actions to closure</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience as an aircraft maintainer, preferably on UH-60 Black Hawk or similar rotary-wing platforms</li> <li>Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices, technical manuals, and operational impacts of design changes</li> <li>Ability to represent maintainer and operational perspectives during development and modernization efforts</li> <li>Demonstrated experience supporting DoD aviation programs, preferably involving the Black Hawk platform</li> <li>Experience coordinating program execution activities in support of cost, schedule, and technical objectives</li> <li>Familiarity with government PMO processes, IPT participation, and program reviews</li> <li>Working knowledge of airframe structures and electrical systems</li> <li>Ability to understand engineering drawings, system architectures, and integration impacts</li> <li>Experience collaborating with engineering teams to assess design changes, modifications, and modernization efforts</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering briefings to government and senior leadership</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, including development of technical and programmatic charts</li> <li>Highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of operating with minimal supervision</li> <li>Proven ability to independently manage tasks, prioritize workload, and drive actions to completion</li> <li>Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Clearance:</strong> Active or ability to obtain DoD Secret (or higher)</p> <p><strong>Desired Experience and Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting Black Hawk modernization, modifications, or upgrades</li> <li>Familiarity with airworthiness, configuration management, and aircraft certification processes</li> <li>Background supporting fielded aircraft systems and operational units</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience preferred but not required)</li> </ul> <p>IronMountain Solutions is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer&nbsp;</p>
