Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Digital Information Management Services (IMS) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Rubrik platform to ensure enterprise-wide data backup, recovery, and compliance.

As a member of the Digital IMS team, you will provide expert technical advice and troubleshooting to maintain a high-quality customer experience across our product infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Administer and maintain the Rubrik platform by monitoring and troubleshooting all data protection and recovery operations to ensure enterprise data integrity.

  • Responsibility 2: Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve technical malfunctions and carry out production requests related to onboarding, offboarding, and usage standards.

  • Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards by developing and updating standard operating procedures for platform usage and maintaining an accurate inventory of virtual and physical Information Technology (IT) components.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting support specifically for the Rubrik data management platform.

  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, storage systems (including file, object, and block), and operating systems such as Linux and Microsoft Server.

  • Proven ability in problem-solving within complex environments, including a working knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN), Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and Wide Area Network (WAN) concepts.

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer sciences or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience.
