Job Overview
As a Database Management Analyst within our Tech Infrastructure & Delivery team, you will support the design and optimization of database systems that power our global operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in database administration and a passion for solving complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with database design and modifications to address processing issues, considering system capacity and performance goals.
- Administer, monitor, and tune production databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Set up and maintain development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production database environments.
- Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data.
- Participate in database analysis and design reviews to meet operational standards (e.g., response time, query execution).
- Contribute to tasks such as denormalization, data archival planning, sizing, DDL creation, referential integrity enforcement, and application optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve non-routine issues.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments.
