Job Description

The Sales Director is responsible for identifying, sourcing and developing sales leads for offshore private wealth planning solutions required by South African ultra-high net worth individuals, asset owners and/or family offices based in and outside of South Africa (with a South African nexus), working closely with the IQ-EQ offshore teams and primary relationship leads, to ensure maximum conversion of prospects, that will be serviced from our Crown Dependencies of Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man.

What You’ll Do

  • You lead the South Africa sales strategy for Crown Dependencies, driving growth by acquiring and retaining UHNW clients, family offices, and intermediaries.
  • You build and expand networks of key intermediaries, generate new business opportunities, and maintain a strong personal pipeline to achieve revenue and sales targets.
  • You collaborate closely with internal teams, ensuring pipeline conversion, client satisfaction, and alignment with IQ‑EQ products, pricing, and regulatory requirements.
  • You act as a market ambassador, raising IQ‑EQ’s profile through events, thought leadership, articles, presentations, and participation in industry forums.
  • You develop and execute business plans, monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and continuously upskill yourself to stay ahead in wealth planning and private fund solutions.

Qualifications

  • Excellent and proven sales and negotiating skills
  • Excellent private wealth knowledge, including offshore wealth planning solutions
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to the mission and values of IQ‑EQ
  • Excellent inspirational and motivational skills
  • Strong initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Good IT, budgeting and reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in leadership, technical, or sales roles
  • Fluent in English
