Agama Advisors is a human-scale consulting firm, part of the international IQ-EQ Group, providing regulatory and compliance assistance, internal control and advisory services to asset managers, investment funds and financial sector professionals in Luxembourg.

At Agama Advisors, based on a solid knowledge of the asset management business and of the Luxembourg and European service providers, we assist our clients in regulatory, compliance, internal control and internal audit engagements.

Job Description

The Compliance & Asset Management Officer provides support to the whole Agama Advisors team and has the following responsibilities:

  • Participate to compliance, AML-CFT and internal audit missions for our clients
  • Drafting or updating regulatory documentation or compliance policies for management companies/AIFM, investment funds and financial sector professionals
  • Assisting in the preparation of periodic regulatory reports
  • Participation in the preparation of AML/CFT training materials
  • Participation in the firm's client acceptance and monitoring process
  • Monitoring name screening alerts on our internal automatic tool
  • Carrying out a regulatory watch to be shared internally and with our clients

Qualifications

  • University degree/Business school in law, finance, compliance
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the financial services sector in the Compliance functions 
  • Proficient in the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Perfect command of English (oral and written)
