For our Medical Team in Munich, we are looking for support as:
Senior Medical Lead - New Launches (f/m/d)
The Senior Medical Lead – New Launches is a strategic and executional leader within the Medical Affairs team, responsible for driving medical strategy and activities with a high focus on new product launches, but also on pipeline assets. This role ensures cross-functional alignment and medical excellence across the product lifecycle, from pre-launch to commercialization, with a strong focus on patient-centricity and scientific leadership
Your responsibilities:
Develop and execute the medical strategy for new products in alignment with global and local brand teams. - Act as a medical lead within cross-functional teams, ensuring integration of medical insights into strategic planning.
Define and advocate for the patient journey and leverage points, becoming both a medical expert and patient advocate.
Understand and anticipate the scientific information needs of HCPs, payers, and patients.
Lead the planning and execution of scientific events including advisory boards, symposia, and congress activities.
Build and maintain relationships with external experts, thought leaders, and professional societies at national and international levels.
Coordinate all medical activities related to new products within the medical team.
Ensure scientific training for sales representatives and MSLs. - Contribute to the development of real-world evidence strategies and support clinical development planning
Act as a role model within the organization, demonstrating a “can-do” attitude and driving execution.
Motivate and align the medical team around strategic goals and project delivery.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of medical activities into broader business plans.
Qualification required:
Advanced degree in life sciences or medicine (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, ideally with exposure to launch activities and cross-functional leadership.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the field (MSL/MSL lead)
Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and influence across functions. • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Fluent in English and German
