Job Description:

Location: São Paulo | Hybrid Working Available

Are you a strategic leader passionate about amplifying the patient voice and driving meaningful change? Join Ipsen as our Head of Communications & Patient Advocacy in Brazil. In this high-impact role, you will:

  • Shape and execute integrated communications and patient advocacy strategies that align with global priorities and local business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on reputation management, advocacy engagement, and external communications.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with patient advocacy groups, professional organizations, and policy makers to elevate the patient voice and drive disease awareness.
  • Lead innovative campaigns across digital, social, and traditional media to enhance corporate reputation and patient activation.
  • Champion corporate social responsibility by coordinating community engagement and supporting local initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in business, communications, life sciences, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in communications and/or patient advocacy, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in the healthcare/pharma industry (oncology, or rare diseases a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese; Spanish is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic planning, media relations, and crisis communication expertise.
