Join us as an experienced Data Engineer!  

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Data team and drive the development of our new Fraud Detection System, building the critical infrastructure required to deploy our Generative AI and Machine Learning models. 

Your future tasks:   

• Plan and design advanced fraud detection systems for the banking environment 

• Participate in generative AI research and development (R&D) initiatives in the fraud detection   field 

• Develop automated mechanisms for data cleansing, anomaly detection, and PII obfuscation (masking sensitive data) to ensure GDPR compliance 

• Design and implement robust data ingestion systems to collect data from various sources (RDBMS, NoSQL, message Queues) in both batch and stream modes 

• Design and implement secure, high-performance APIs to expose model predictions to our banking clients   

• Collaborate with Data Scientists to transform experimental models into production-ready code 

What we expect from You:   

• Motivation and enthusiasm to dive into new projects and a willingness to continuously develop yourself professionally 

• Ability to clearly communicate about the project, even to non-technical audiences 

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Python development 

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration basics 

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)  

• Experience with using SQL and NoSQL databases 

• Proficiency with Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, or FastAPI) 

• Proficiency in Hungarian, as this is the language of our internal communication  

• Intermediate level English, as we have international clients as well  

It’s a big plus if You have:    

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and models 

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn 

• Knowledge of image processing frameworks, such as OpenCV.  

• Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face)
