Our Room Attendants play one of the most important roles in creating a wonderful experience for our guests. You help make each room feel fresh, clean, comfortable, and welcoming—just like home. Room Attendants work closely with housekeeping leaders and other team members to make sure every guest walks into a room that is spotless, inviting, and ready for relaxation. Your attention to detail and positive attitude help set the tone for a great stay.
What You’ll Do
Create a Clean, Comfortable Guest Experience
Clean and refresh guest rooms to brand and WHM standards, including bathrooms, beds, floors, and amenities.
Restock linens, towels, and supplies so rooms are fully prepared for the next guest.
Ensure each room looks neat, welcoming, and ready for a great guest experience.
Support a Smooth, Positive Housekeeping Operation
Maintain cleanliness in hallways and housekeeping work areas.
Communicate any room issues or maintenance needs so they can be resolved quickly.
Follow safety guidelines and cleaning procedures to protect guests and team members.
Provide Friendly Guest Interaction
Greet guests kindly if you encounter them while working.
Assist with simple requests (like extra towels) in a warm, helpful manner.
Stay Organized & Efficient
Manage your room list throughout the day and move smoothly from one task to the next.
Keep your cart stocked, tidy, and ready to go.
No matter what room you clean, your goal is simple:

QualificationsQualifications – Room Attendant
A positive, friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help create a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to notice small things that help make rooms feel polished and guest-ready.
Reliable and dependable, with consistent attendance and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently, manage your room list, and stay motivated throughout the shift.
Physically able to perform housekeeping tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and pushing housekeeping carts.
Willingness to follow cleaning procedures, brand standards, and safety guidelines.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work well with supervisors and team members.
Comfortable interacting with guests in a warm and respectful manner when needed.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude.
Professional appearance and demeanor, representing WHM’s values of kindness, cleanliness, and excellent attitude.
