Job Overview/Summary:

The Application Support Analyst will serve as a key resource providing comprehensive support for the IRC's enterprise application systems, with primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations among other integrated systems. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for application-related questions and issues from global staff
  • Provide Level 1/2 support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) and other enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working closely with end-users, vendors, and internal technical teams
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose areas of improvement to optimize application efficiency
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
  • Proactively document issues, resolutions, and system configurations in the knowledge base both for the end user and technical support.
  • Provide enhanced support during system go-live and hyper care period, ensuring stability, quick issue resolution, and smooth user adoption before transitioning to standard support.
  • Support integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise applications systems such as  Kyriba, Emburse, FastPath, SK Global among others.

Position directly supervises: N/A

Other External Contacts: Software vendors and consultants

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in application support role, preferably in nonprofit or international development sector
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
  • Experience supporting ERP or financial management systems
  • Speaks Fluent English and French.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certification
  • Experience with other enterprise applications (Service now, Jira, Workday, Power BI, etc.)
  • Multilingual capabilities (French, English)
  • Experience working in the NGO or nonprofit sector, especially in distributed or low-bandwidth environments

Working Environment:

  • Standard office working environment.
  • Some international travel as needed.
