HR Generalist – Hebron, KY

Onsite Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm


Summary

ARMOR IIMAK is searching for an HR Generalist to be based out of our Hebron, KY facility reporting to the HR Business Partner.  This is a full-time onsite position. This person will manage a broad range of human resources functions, serving as a key point of contact for employees and managers. This role involves supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for people and a solid understanding of HR best practices.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, performing background checks, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
  • Serve as HR point of contact and first-line support for all Human Resources functions.
  • Assist in handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Escalating to Production Manager and HRBP as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Enforce company HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
  • Assist with special projects, such as HR metrics reporting, employee engagement activities and surveys.


 What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience successfully engaging and attracting diverse talent to join an organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws (e.g., FLSA, EEOC, FMLA) and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP highly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Establish, maintain, and foster positive harmonious working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • A creative and innovative business professional with a proven track record of bringing fresh and progressive ideas to the workplace.
  • All other duties as assigned.
