- Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist -PET/CT
- Location: San Martin Oncology Clinic – Intermountain Health
- Schedule: PRN, as needed
- Pay: $42.66 -$65.82/hr depending upon experience
Essential Functions
- Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions
- Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation
- Perform exams per department protocol; review images for quality and accuracy
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Follow NRC, Division of Radiation Control, and other regulatory agency standards
- Complete studies within acceptable timeframes without compromising care
- Assist and instruct students and other technologists in procedures and equipment use
- Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns
- Practice proper infection control and sterile techniques
- Operate imaging equipment and related systems to ensure quality results
- Maintain accurate records per state and Joint Commission requirements
- Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment reporting

Minimum Qualifications
- Current license in state of practice
- Clinical board certification (ARRT or NMTCB)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- IV certification
- One year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of clinical PET/CT experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
