Residential Specialist - FreshSTART

This position is for weekend evenings (Saturday and Sunday 3pm - 12am) or weekend days.

Compensation $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certification.

As a Residential Specialist, you will be responsible for serving as a positive role model for children and adolescents in a therapeutic placement in need of a structured therapeutic environment due to behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs. The Residential Specialist contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans and works via role modeling to develop socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents. This role reports to the Program Manager.

Education and Experience Required: The selected candidate will have a High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of experience working with children, OR; an Associate's Degree and at least three months of experience working with children, OR; a Bachelor's Degree in a Virginia Department of Health Profession's approved Human Service degree.
