About this role

TITLE: Converting Operator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To safely produce good, quality film using conversion equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Basic understanding of machine operations and adjustments
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Up to 50 lbs. lifting maximum
  • P.C. Knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Physical activity required for this position
  • Visual activity required for this position
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Package and secure finished good products to procedure
  • Perform other duties deemed necessary by Management.
  • Actively participate in corrective actions for film non conformities, equipment abnormals, and material defects.
  • Fully support and work toward achieving plant targets and goals.
  • Familiar with quality defects for machine and hand film.
  • Maintain High level of housekeeping
  • Comply with Plant Safety Regulations and Good Manufacturing practices
  • Troubleshoot all areas of packing
  • Training New Personnel
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required
  • Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

  • Manufacturing Environment
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
  • Loud Noise
