TITLE: Converting Operator C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To safely produce good, quality film using conversion equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Basic understanding of machine operations and adjustments
- Oral and written communication skills
- Up to 50 lbs. lifting maximum
- P.C. Knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physical activity required for this position
- Visual activity required for this position
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Package and secure finished good products to procedure
- Perform other duties deemed necessary by Management.
- Actively participate in corrective actions for film non conformities, equipment abnormals, and material defects.
- Fully support and work toward achieving plant targets and goals.
- Familiar with quality defects for machine and hand film.
- Maintain High level of housekeeping
- Comply with Plant Safety Regulations and Good Manufacturing practices
- Troubleshoot all areas of packing
- Training New Personnel
- Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
- Loud Noise
