TITLE: Converting Operator C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Follow established quality guidelines to produce a product that meets criteria.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lead or senior operator will train operator on procedure that applies to line.
- Shadow operator “A”.
- Quality training with QC personnel.
- Packer experience preferred.
- Operator experience.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Extrusion operator.
- Start Up
- Chill Roll Cleaning
- Performed Thread Up
- Screen Changes
- Adjust Core Alignment.
- Blade Adjustments.
- Popping Trim.
- Housekeeping.
- Wrap up removal pressure roll.
- Pack Finish Goods to Correct Procedure.
- Wrap up removal idle rollers.
- Packaging material over 5’
- Hand tools.
- Machine knowledge.
- Boxing, accounting, and weighing of scrap.
- Train packer C
- Assist packer A.
- Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Inside and outside environments apply.
- Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
- Subject to noise.

- The Converting Operator C assists the Extrusion operator and is responsible for various tasks including start-up procedures, cleaning, adjustments, and packaging finished goods. They also train packers and ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
