About this role

TITLE: Railcar Worker A

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Good communication with coworkers and assist operators in maintaining a safe work environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or 1-year working experience in related field.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • According to the daily pumping schedule provided by supervisor, pump resin from railcars to silos accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with IP rail crew team for car switching.
  • Make sure the cars received are correct and at the right spot. Check all the compartments are seal properly. Report any issue to supervisor immediately.
  • Taking samples from each compartment and mark required information on the sample. Deliver all the samples to QC for quality check.
  • Keep pump station, rail tracks and surrounding area clean and organized. Following “Operation Clean Sweep” policy keep ground free of resin.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

  • Office environment.
  • Occasionally walking, standing.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
