TITLE: Railcar Worker A
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Good communication with coworkers and assist operators in maintaining a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or 1-year working experience in related field.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- According to the daily pumping schedule provided by supervisor, pump resin from railcars to silos accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with IP rail crew team for car switching.
- Make sure the cars received are correct and at the right spot. Check all the compartments are seal properly. Report any issue to supervisor immediately.
- Taking samples from each compartment and mark required information on the sample. Deliver all the samples to QC for quality check.
- Keep pump station, rail tracks and surrounding area clean and organized. Following “Operation Clean Sweep” policy keep ground free of resin.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Office environment.
- Occasionally walking, standing.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
