Job Description: 

  • Supports the development and execution of technology strategies that aid the long-term growth for business unit(s).

  • Helps determine plausible targets and define the strategic roadmap to achieve those targets.

  • Aligns business unit goals, processes, and resource allocation with the technology strategy.

  • Shapes the role of technology in business strategies to capture favorable market share.

  • Identifies value creation opportunities based on detailed assessment and analysis of current technology footprint.

  • Conducts market research and benchmarks organization's technology performance.

  • Tracks key market trends and benchmarks competitors to propose recommendations and next steps.

  • Builds business cases and review documents via high quality longform written narratives and secures buy in of senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Works with project/cross functional teams and ensures that all agreed technology strategy projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget.

  • Supports the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative insight, knowledge, guidance, and recommendations on a specific market relevant technology strategy.

  • Leverages technical, business, and organizational acumen, and networking capabilities, to engage at a high level and influence critical decisions including product and technology direction and the championing of new systems.

  • Drives business unit's priorities and perspectives, engages with customers and co-travelers to influence and communicate the business unit's vision.

  • Interacts with technologists across Intel, and within the industry, to evaluate feasibility of requirements, determine priorities for development, and connects with customers to communicate Intel Architecture solutions and identify customer gaps to set engineering direction.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR 10+ years of industry experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 3+ years of direct influence in the gaming ecosystem, including work with game publishers, studios, middleware providers, or adjacent visual computing software companies.

  • Comparable business development or partner management experience in adjacent industries (media, entertainment, digital content) will also be considered.

  • Demonstrated output focused business development capability, including partner engagement, deal progression, and program execution with measurable outcomes.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English to support native level engagement with Japan based game developers and publishers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in a technical or business discipline.

  • Prior experience working directly with gaming companies (publisher, studio, or platform engagements).

  • Proven self-starter comfortable driving work independently in ambiguous environments.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

  • Strong team player with a collaborative working style.
