This position is part time (35 hours per week), but full-time hours may be considered (40 hours per week). This internship is a fixed-term opportunity lasting approximately 12 months

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team in Costa Rica. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting across various domains such as accounting, operations finance, and treasury. As a Finance Intern, you will collaborate with experienced finance professionals, contribute to strategic financial initiatives, and explore future career opportunities within Intel.

  • Supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across various domains such as accounting, operations finance, and treasury.

  • Assists in preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and evaluating business performance metrics.

  • Collaborates with finance professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications:

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in English.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ months of knowledge or experience in:

    • Financial planning, variance analysis, and business performance metrics.

    • Previous internship or work experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools used for analysis and reporting.

    • Basic understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the finance sector.
