The Lead Data Scientist solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on Inspire Brands’ business. Makes decisions within general functional, company, and industry guidelines and participates in the development of business strategy and develops and manages plans to achieve objectives. This position is recognized as an expert within the company; progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements.

*This position is an 80% onsite required role( Typically Monday- Thursday)

RESPONSITIBILITIES:

• Lead data scientist across COE/Business
• Lead the analytical strategy that creates significant industry impact
• Manage and leads program of solutions that generate significant Inspire Brands revenue
• Architect of multiple innovative solution components leveraging business and technical expertise
• Lead data scientists across multiple technical domains
• Design code and solutions that improves productivity of Inspire Brands
• Contribute to evaluation of external data sources, provide due diligence recommendations
• Evaluate the technical work of highly experienced data scientists guiding them on deliverable quality and accuracy
• Communicate results to c-level management and external stakeholders, able to communicate the impact of the work

EDUCATION:

• MINIMUM requirement options:
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field with 4+ years of relevant work experience​ OR ​
  • PhD in a STEM field with 3+ years of relevant work experience

• PREFERRED:
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant work experience​

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and proactively on large and complicated advanced analytics projects. Is capable of mentoring and leading training sessions.
