About this role

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, cognitive -communication and swallowing disorders in patient in both the Acute care and Outpatient settings. Close collaboration with Interdisciplinary teams to facilitate safe and effective communication and swallowing. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate from a program in Speech Language Pathology.  Holds one of the following degrees: Master's Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology.

Certification/ Licensure:

  • Must maintain current license in the State of NJ to practice Speech language Pathology. 
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) required within 60 days of being hired into the position.
  • National Certification in specialty area preferred.
