MAJOR FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure the manager of Telecommunications and Audio Visual participates in planning activities, implementation, design, maintenance and support activities of the telecommunications and audio-visual departments. This responsibility will be in direct support of: Clinical and non-clinical departments and systems including but not limited to Revenue Cycle, HR/Payroll, ERP, Finance. Integration and IT Security infrastructure. The Manager of Telecommunications and AV will design and implement a competitive and industry compliant communications infrastructure for Inspira Health.
As the Telecommunications Manager, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of our telecommunications systems, ensuring they function at peak efficiency. Your responsibilities will extend to developing and enforcing telecommunications policies, collaborating with vendors and contractors on technology upgrades, and leading a dedicated team of telecommunications professionals. You will oversee a team of professionals that support a complex environment across multiple facilities and lines of businesses 24x7, 365 days a year.
Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that the telecommunications staff is aligned with the organization's objectives, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service and adhering to established communication protocols. Your role will extend to overseeing budgets, tracking performance metrics, and continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement, all of which are essential in promoting a robust and efficient communication environment within our healthcare system.
