About this role

Position Overview

Responsible for the management of Insight Services Sales Teams in the West region within the Infrastructure Solutions Line.  This includes development of service sales representatives of various types, and meeting stated sales objectives. 

 

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Building and coaching of sales teams.
  • Accountable to Monthly service revenue forecast.
  • Driving recognition within Area branch offices.
  • Accountable for service sales budget of geographical area (revenue and gross profit).
  • Create and implement a strong business plan, to be reviewed quarterly.
  • Motivate service sales representatives.
  • Holds reviews for all Area Team Mates.
  • Monitoring expenses of Solution Sales Executives, and audit/review overall area expenses
  • Hire solution sales personnel.
  • Working closely with, and establish business relationships with various OEM’s; so as to obtain relationships that will result in rep to rep leads, and information regarding deals that are occurring in the market place.
  • Travel and assist sales reps on their higher profile accounts.  Coach the reps’ professionalism and selling competency.  Help them prepare and build client trust.
  • Team with peers to actively pursue new business, follow up with the reps to help them close deals and manage appropriate resources.
  • Provide input and feedback to the Field Marketing team on the content of major proposals and presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of the reseller channel and information technology market.
  • Superior Communication skills.
  • Participate aggressively in the management and creation of Field Services as a peer to the Area Director of Field Services.
  • Manage all aspects of given territory to assure quality and attainment of all set objectives.
  • From time to time, make recommendations on new service offerings, and create the business plan associated with such offerings.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • BS/BA degree, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the computer industry calling on large corporate accounts. 
  • 7+ years of management experience in a channel sales environment is preferred. 
  • 10 years of experience in the computer industry field. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/ professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports and/or business correspondence. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, other employees.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. 
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. 
  • Ability to write using original or innovative techniques or style. 
  • Ability to make effective and/or persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and/or boards of directors.
  • This professional will be an excellent communicator
  • Strong reputation of personal and professional integrity is required.
