About the role
The L4 Support Engineer will be responsible for handling complex incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management:
- Take ownership of critical incidents escalated from L1–L3 teams.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Dynamics 365 issues.
- Implement permanent fixes and validate resolution to prevent recurrence.
- Technical Expertise:
- Analyze application logs, integrations, and workflows within Dynamics 365.
- Debug and resolve issues related to customizations, plugins, and APIs.
- Optimize system performance and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with development teams for code-level fixes.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand impact and prioritize fixes.
- Document incident resolution steps and update knowledge base for future reference.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify patterns in recurring incidents and propose proactive measures.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to process enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/ERP modules).
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure services, and SQL.
- Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Dynamics 365 SDK.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 support and development.
- Proven track record in handling high-severity incidents and implementing fixes.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals / Developer Associate.
